Favourite treatment: Dermafrac Skin Needling – because even after one treatment you can see amazing changes in skin texture and clarity & the Deep Sea Peel as it has definitely reduced the appearance of pigmentation on my skin from sun damage.
Liz Franz’s passion for skin started by addressing her own issues. In her early days, Liz managed Island resorts with her husband Tony. As idyllic as this sounds, the love for the beach and sun soon resulted in sun damage with visible fine lines and pigmentation. Liz always used higher end over the counter products but once she started in the cosmetic industry, she soon realised that these “beauty” products were not enough to offer her a solution. “There are many products that over promise but don’t deliver” says Liz. Her life changed when she discovered clinical active skin care. By using the products needed for her problem at a concentration level that penetrates the skin she was able to transfer her uneven complexion into a more radiant clear complexion. Liz has over 12 years Clinical experience and throughout her career she has gained diverse knowledge and training in all aspects of cosmetic anti-ageing as well as medical skin conditions. She attributes this to working closely in the past 4 years with skin cancer doctors. Liz regularly updates her skills with on- going training, webinars and attends yearly conferences and master classes in Acne and skin disorders. Liz has a gentle caring and honest approach with her clients. Liz will take time to listen to you, identify your needs, educate you in relation to your skin and will work with you by providing amazing treatments and clinical home care. Liz has a strong and loyal following which comes from understanding the importance of honest and trusting relationships with each of her clients. Kathryn Bowers – Senior Skin Therapist
Position: Senior Skin Therapist – Laser & IPL Certified – Beauty Trainer
Kathryn comes to us with 10 years of beauty industry experience in Cairns.
Favourite things about her job: Getting amazing results for her clients through her passion and loves educating clients.
Favourite Products: Kathryn is trialing many of our products at the moment and enjoys the large variety we have to offer our clients.
Her passion for skin knowledge stems from seeing her husband suffer from a rare skin disorder which inspired her into delving deeper into all things skin. She loves challenges and therefore will be willing to help all her clients achieve the best skin they possibly can. Having held a diverse range of positions from laser technician to dermal therapist to clinic manager and beauty trainer she has a strong knowledge of skin, beauty treatments and skincare combined with a genuine passion to deliver results and friendly and exceptional service to each client.
Kathryn is married with three teenage children and loves cooking and spending time with her family.
Helena Avramoski
Position: Dermal Skin Therapist/Laser Technician/Brow & Eyelash lift Technician
Favourite thing about her Job: Helena loves working & educating her clients and seeing positive changes with how they feel & look after just a couple of treatments. She believes it is an industry that teaches you every day, as no two skins are the same. She is passionate about the health of her clients skin and is looking forward to building client relationships as she loves helping people.
Favourite products: I was a sun obsessed in my teens and twenties, I would sun tan my face and body for hours without SPF. This had left my skin thickened, dull, pigmented with uneven skin tone. To combat and try to reverse the damage I will never leave the house without an antioxidant serum, TRI VITA C serum has serum has 3 types of vitamin c reaching each layer of my skin to ensure it is receiving the support it needs. To also fight the sun damage and uneven skin I use a high strength vitamin A (Biopelle Retriderm retinol), which is also supporting the anti-ageing concerns I have.
Favourite treatment: My favourite treatment would have to be the Dermafrac microdermabrasion/microneedling/LED therapy combination.
Helena, comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Helena moved to Cairns with her husband & 2 children from Melbourne. The journey of how she fell in love with all things skin starts back when she was working in the dental industry and was trained on how to operate a laser. Helena realised that by using light based modalities you could do so much to improve the health of the skin. From that point on she has entrenched herself with everything skin. Including face to face learning, online courses, Trudy Fleming Institute of Laser certified trained & also holds an Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science with Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science.
Miranda Earley
Position: Senior Skin Therapist/IPL Technician/Brow & Eyelash lift Technician
Favourite thing about her Job: I started out as an acne client of CCS a few years ago, since my first visit my skin has had a total transformation. I love being able to achieve the same amazing results for my clients and educating them on the holistic approach that is needed for healthy skin.
Favourite Product: Neoretin Pigment serum, K Ceutic 50+ and anything with peptides!
Favourite Treatment: I love Dermafrac skin needling and TCA peels.

Keira Coakley
Position: Keira has just completed her Cert III in beauty at TAFE & is now our Apprentice and will be completing her Diploma in Beauty shortly.
“I’ve always enjoyed taking care of my skin as I struggle with acne myself. I’m interested in different treatments to help certain skin concerns but specifically acne. From a very young age I always had an interest in taking care of my skin and not just externally but also internally with my diet. I always enjoyed looking into products that help with all skin concerns like ageing, dryness, breakouts and many more.”
I love to help my friends and family who struggle with all different skin concerns and love to educate them on all the different things that may cause their skin to be the way it is and what the best things they can do to help their skin concerns.
Favourite Treatment: Dermafrac treatment as I find it so interesting that you can customize the treatment to fit people’s skin concerns using all different serums on different parts of your face. I know how effective it is as I have seen it improve my skin dramatically after only one treatment.
Favourite Products: Biretix has an amazing acne range. My skin is less angry and the spots have certainly reduced.
