Favourite treatment: Dermafrac Skin Needling – because even after one treatment you can see amazing changes in skin texture and clarity & the IPL as it has definitely reduced the appearance of pigmentation on my skin from sun damage.
Liz Franz’s passion for skin started by addressing her own issues. In her early days, Liz managed Island resorts with her husband Tony. As idyllic as this sounds, the love for the beach and sun soon resulted in sun damage with visible fine lines and pigmentation. Liz always used higher end over the counter products but once she started in the cosmetic industry, she soon realised that these “beauty” products were not enough to offer her a solution. “There are many products that over promise but don’t deliver” says Liz. Her life changed when she discovered clinical active skin care. By using the products needed for her problem at a concentration level that penetrates the skin she was able to transfer her uneven complexion into a more radiant clear complexion. Liz has over 12 years Clinical experience and throughout her career she has gained diverse knowledge and training in all aspects of cosmetic anti-ageing as well as medical skin conditions. She attributes this to working closely in the past 4 years with skin cancer doctors. Liz regularly updates her skills with on- going training, webinars and attends yearly conferences and master classes in Acne and skin disorders. Liz has a gentle caring and honest approach with her clients. Liz will take time to listen to you, identify your needs, educate you in relation to your skin and will work with you by providing amazing treatments and clinical home care. Liz has a strong and loyal following which comes from understanding the importance of honest and trusting relationships with each of her clients. Paige Candy – Dermal Skin Therapist
Position: Skin Therapist – Undergraduate Degree in Dermal Therapy
Paige has completed her Undergraduate Degree in Dermal Therapy through the Australasian College of Health and Wellness. With a strong passion for skin health and personal experience with the effects of acne, she is dedicated to helping others feel more confident in their skin.
During her studies, Paige has gained hands-on experience performing consultations and treatments under the guidance of respected skin educator Gay Wardle. She has developed a particular interest in thorough skin consultations, gut health, and personalised treatment planning.
Originally from a cattle station near Charters Towers, Paige grew up with a strong work ethic and love of learning new skills. She has recently settled in Cairns with her partner, excited to embrace new opportunities and grow her career in the skin industry.
Paige prides herself on her dedication, warmth, and eagerness to learn. She is passionate about supporting clients on their journey to healthier, clearer, and more radiant skin—and is a valued member of the Cairns Clear Skin team.
Position: Specialised Beautician Professional Qualification in Italy
Elisabetta began her career in the beauty industry at just 19 years old in Italy. Over the years, she has worked in several aesthetic clinics and luxury spas, gaining extensive experience with different skin treatments, technologies, and professional skincare brands. Working with a wide range of products has allowed her to develop a strong understanding of active ingredients, formulations, and how to tailor home care to each individual skin concern.
She has always been committed to continuing education, regularly updating her knowledge and refining her techniques to ensure she delivers the highest standard of care. Her passion for skin health and wellbeing continues to drive her professional growth.
Elisabetta takes a personalised, hands-on approach to every client, combining her professional expertise with genuine care for their wellbeing. She believes that healthy, balanced skin comes from understanding each person’s unique needs and creating treatments that not only improve the skin, but also leave clients feeling relaxed, nurtured, and cared for.
Favourite treatment:
I love skin needling for its ability to stimulate collagen and improve skin texture and firmness. Facial massage is another passion of mine, including Buccal (intraoral), Lymphatic Drainage, and Sculpt massage. Lymphatic massage supports detoxification and reduces puffiness, while Sculpt massage lifts and remodels facial contours. These techniques also enhance product absorption and naturally stimulate collagen, leaving the skin firmer, revitalised, and relaxed.

Position: Receptionist & Administration Supervisor
Lisa is our bubbly and joyful addition to Cairns Clear Skin team. With decades of experience across administrative and bookkeeping roles, she plays a vital part in keeping the clinic organised, efficient and running smoothly.
Reliable warm hearted and genuinely caring, Lisa is often the first friendly face and voice our clients connect with. She brightens the clinic each day and takes pride in making every client feel welcomed, supported and looked after from the moment they make contact through to their visit in clinic.
Lisa first came to Cairns Clear Skin as a client, seeking to address sun damage from her childhood spent playing sport under Cairns intense sun. Today her skin is the best condition it has ever been – a transformation she loves sharing with our clients.
